Varia is the ideal container for growing large plants: the best alternative to open field production. The wall structure is made up of perforated introflexions that extend over the entire bottom of the pot. This design has been specifically studied to maintain a constant and optimal level of oxygen to the root system of the plant; the edges and the introflexions, on the other hand, block the expansive force of the roots and help to enhance the growth of the stem. Root growth is radial and uniform to the pot, much faster, thanks to the same arrangement of the holes that inhibit the spiralling process. This latter effect limits unsuccessful transplants and guarantees stable and healthy plants once planted. The drainage holes and the docks placed on the bottom of the pot favour the expulsion of excess water and prevent the formation of rot, the first cause of the formation of unhealthy environments and consequent death of the plants. The reinforced walls make it a container capable of supporting the most disparate stresses: loads, displacements, stacking are not able to deform its structure. Varia requires a correct use of the substrate as the passage of oxygen occurs through the substrate itself, thus making the use of coconut fibre essential.
