This internal organisational model establishes the administrative liability of entities for specific offences committed in their interest or to their advantage. The aforementioned liability also applies in relation to offences committed overseas, provided that the State of the place where the offence was committed does not prosecute for their suppression.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\nWhistleblowing<\/strong>: a corporate compliance tool<\/span>\n\n\n\n

The term is a metaphor for the role of ‘referee’ assumed by those who call attention<\/strong> to illegal activities<\/strong> and demand<\/strong> that they be stopped.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 Whistleblowing<\/strong> is, therefore, a fundamental tool through which employees or third parties of a company can report<\/strong> any wrongdoing encountered in the course of their work and which endangers public health and safety, in a confidential and protected manner.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
