In 2016 Nuova Pasquini e Bini, in collaboration with the Design Campus of the University of Florence, started a workshop with a selected group of students for the design of new pots for urban furnishing.
At the end of the project, all designs were collected in a dedicated catalog. On our web site, we asked opinions of interested customers and visitors through a questionnaire. All the creations were interesting, but some more than others, and two of them worthy of being rewarded. So during 2018, Nuova Pasquini e Bini gave birth to MARTE and DIAMANTE.
Maria Luisa Malpelo is the designer who has created Diamante. The line is composed of pot and pouf seat that, combined, recall the typical shape of a brilliant cut diamond. These two components, with beveled edges, can be put side by side or combined at will to realize geometric and regular patterns that remind the Arab world and, especially the mashrabiyas.
Pot and pouf can be used separately and combined and arranged according to the configuration of the area in which they are placed. The pots can be put one next to the other along one of the facets of the diamond building partition fences for parks, private gardens, shopping malls, whether airports, hotel halls.
Lorenzo Pelosini is the creator of Marte. The pot has a rounded shape and an essential line but it shows in the center a distintive concave boost. Marte can contain plants of large dimensions since it has a capacity of about 1400 liters. The bottom is reinforced and perfectly able to support the weight of the plant and it has specific guides that facilitate its transport by forklift.
Marte is an ornamental pot perfect to valorize public and private spaces with its strong character, giving all the preciousness and quality typical of the Made in Italy design to the surrounding area.
